Discussed attendance requirements with the Provider- A written hard copy record of daily attendance should be maintained that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 12/1/22 from 10:50am to 12:40pm in conjunction with a renewal inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two caregiver records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and Health & Safety Update training, as well as current certification in First Aid and CPR. The last lockdown drill was documented on 5/10/22.
