Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted onsite on January 24, 2023. There were three children in care, ages two moths through two and one half years old, with the provider. Children and household records were reviewed. Activity areas inside and outside the home were reviewed. Children were observed in provider and self-directed activities. Violations regarding required postings, a child's record update and the first aid kit were cited and appear on the violation notice. The violations were discussed with the provider during the exit interview at the conclusion of the inspection.
Based on observation the center failed to ensure that the first aid kit contains all required items. Evidence: 1 - There was one triangular bandage in the first aid kit where more than one is required. 2 - The provider stated that she had only one triangular bandage.
Plan of Correction:
The correct amount of triangle bandages have been added to the first aid kit. All required items are now inside the kit.
