Technical Assistance:
Discussed being a subsidy vendor, the provider should be approved by the next inspection and discussed the changes that will be implemented at the next inspection. A subsidy inspection will be conducted at the same time.
Comments:
An Unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted on 1/24/2024 from 10:10 am to 11:30 am. The provider was not home at the beginning of the inspection, she was at an appointment. The two assistants were present with 8 children totaling 22 points. The provider arrived about 30 minutes after the inspection started. The children were observed having morning snack and playing with toys and with playdough. Lots of interaction between the caregivers and children. The set up has been changed giving the children access to many more areas to explore. reviewed 4 children's records and 7 house hold member records and 2 caregiver records during this inspection.. A violation notice was given to the provider along with this inspection summary. Please call me at 703-203-8659 or email me at pernille.brandt@doe.virginia.gov if you have any questions regarding this inspection.
Based on the review of children's records the provider failed to get some of the information to make the record for one child complete. Evidence: Based on the review of 4 children's records, one child, child 4 is missing the following: Emergency contact addresses, Immunization records, proof of ID, first day of attendance and second emergency contact.
Plan of Correction:
I will contact the parent and get the information.
