Comments:
This Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 02/01/2024, between the hours of 9:30 am to 11 am. There was 1 preschool child present (2 points), with 1 caregiver supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined (1) non-compliance with the applicable standards. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the home.

Based on review, the department's annual health and safety update course was not completed.
Evidence - 1. The annual health and safety update course for 2023 was not completed by Staff #1. 2. The current certificate of completion was dated - 12/03/2022.
Plan of Correction:
The annual health and safety update course for 2024 will be completed before the end of the year and placed on file for later review.
