An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:40am-12:25pm. There were 26 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 6 staff. The physical plant, staff records, children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, having a Friday dance party and eating lunch. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an ample supply of materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on a review of records, one staff record did not contain documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening prior to employment and completed within the previous 30 calendar days. Evidence: Staff A Date of hire 2/20/2024 did not have results on file.
