Discussion on required background checks for household members over 14 years old.
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted February 26, 2024 approximately 2:55 pm to 3:25 pm. There were 7 children for a total of 15 points directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed transitioning from resting to group play. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children.

Based on review of two household members? records and interview with the provider, the provider did not obtain a central registry report within 30 days for a 14 year-old residing in the home. Evidence: 1. Household member #2 did not have central registry results.
