Technical assistance was provided regarding staff emergency contacts kept at the center. The emergency contact shall include the name, address, and telephone number of a person to be notified in an emergency for each staff. In addition, technical assistance was also provided regarding acceptable forms of documentation of tuberculosis screening. Documentation shall include at least one of the following: (1) A clearance statement signed by a physician, the physician's designee, or an official of the local health department; (2) The results of a negative tuberculin skin test (TST). The documentation shall include the date the test was given and results of the test and be signed by a physician, physician's designee, or an official of the local health department; or (3) The results of a chest x-ray negative for active tuberculosis disease.

An announced non-mandated focused inspection was conducted 1/16/2020 between the hours of 9:30am thru 12:30pm at Ron Rosner Family YMCA of Spotsylvania, Virginia. A total of three staff files were reviewed and were complete. Please email me at lori.hancock@dss.virginia.gov for questions.
