This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced monitoring inspection was initiated on February 5, 2021 and concluded on February 5, 2021 to complete a modification of the license as the provider has moved to a new home. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection and a virtual inspection began at 1:00 p.m. A walkthrough of the entire home was conducted. Childcare areas and supplies were observed. The child care areas are well organized and there are ample supplies and materials for the requested age range of birth to twelve years old.There were no children present so not all standards could be reviewed. Emergency plans and required phone numbers are posted.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
