Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 12/07/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 12 children present, ranging in ages from 13 months to 3 years, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records, 1 household member record, and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on review of three caregiver records it was determined that not all caregivers obtained a tuberculosis (TB) screening before coming into contact with children. Evidence: Caregiver A (start date: 06/15/2021) did not have a TB screening on file.
Plan of Correction:
Caregiver A will obtain a TB screening and submit the results to the provider.
