An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 01/27/2023 from 3:00pm - 4:10 pm. There were 26 children in care with 5 staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the vendor failed to ensure that all staff work directly with children shall have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care.
Evidence: 1. The CPR certification for staff 1 expired on 08/25/2022. 2. The CPR certification for staff 2 expired on 11/09/2020.
