Comments:
This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the daycare areas of the home.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 10:30am. The Provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 2 children = 8 points with the Provider + Adult #1 during the inspection. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The daycare was sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for children. Information gathered during the inspection determined there was an area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@dss.virginia.gov
Based on records reviewed, it was determined that the Provider and an adult household member did not have a completed TB screening every 2 years.
Evidence:
1. Provider - The previous TB test was dated as completed 1/4/19. 2. Adult #1 - The previous TB test was dated as completed 1/28/19.
Plan of Correction:
The TB tests will be updated by the end of the month.
