Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on January 6, 2021 and concluded on January 29, 2021. The provider was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection. There were 6 children present and 1 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 household member records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
Based on review of caregiver's record, a current tuberculosis screening was not available for review. Evidence: Caregiver #1 does not have documentation of a tuberculosis screening in their record.

I sent all my original documentation to Kim. I will contact her and try to get a copy.

Description:
Based on interview, caregiver #1 has no knowledge of monthly evacuation drills. Evidence: Monthly evacuation drills are not being conducted.

Description:
Based on review of household member records, one does not contain the required documentation. Evidence: Household member #1 does not have documentation of a child protective services check form.

I will get a CPS check done for her and send the form to the inspector when it is returned.
