Technical Assistance:
Discussion of the children's files. While the required information was obtained by other means, one form (VR-FDH Registration Form) on file was missing a page 2.
All copies of background checks submitted in past years were returned to the Provider.
Comments:
This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 01/05/2023, between the hours of 10 am to 11:30 am. There were 3 children present (7 points), ranging from toddler to preschool-age, with 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas as indicated on the Voluntary Registration Health and Safety Checklist: Emergencies; Accident and injury prevention; Health and safety; Child Development; and Laws & Regulations. A total of 3 children records, 1 staff record, and 3 adult household records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) non-compliance with an applicable requirement. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the home.

Based on observation, 2 of 6 electrical outlets were not child-proof in all areas accessible to children.
Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (01/05/2023), two outlets were missing the covers. 2. These exposed outlets were located in the main child care area.
Plan of Correction:
Corrected on the date of inspection. Provider covered all exposed outlets with an appropriate cover.
