Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on and concluded on 11/03/2021. There were 16 children present with 3 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on interviews with the provider it was determined that children with diagnosed food allergies did not have a written allergy care plan. Evidence: Child A and Child B documented on the center's allergy list as having a food allergy did not have a written allergy care plan on file.
Plan of Correction:
Administration will request an allergy care plan for Child A and Child B.
