Based on observation, it was determined that the family day home did not ensure the home's activities, services, and facilities are conducive to the welfare of children in care. Evidence: 1. The family day home failed to adhere to the health and safety guidelines established due to the COVID-19 pandemic of maintaining social distancing of at least six feet between individuals 2. Staff and children over the age of two were not using cloth face coverings when physical distancing was not maintained. 3. On August 27, 2020, five preschool aged children were observed at a small table with one staff in close proximity to one another participating in an activity. Children nor staff wore face coverings and a minimum of six feet social distancing was not implemented.
Plan of Correction:
1. Children will continue to learn about COVID "germs" and how wearing our "fun masks" will keep us safe for all children over age 2 when a 6' distance cannot be maintained as medically and developmentally appropriate
