This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on June 16, 2021 and concluded on June 22, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 10:40 a.m. A virtual inspection was then conducted. There were seven children, ages 23 months through 7 years old in care for a total of 13 points under the supervision of two staff. Children were observed during outdoor play. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were up to date. The weekly menu was reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
