An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted 11/29/2023 from 2:00pm through 3:00pm. There were 13 children, ages 4 to 5 years, directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, programming, menu, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 medications, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in circle time, singing songs and learning about days of the week, learning about the weather, eating snack, which consisted of carrots, hummus, and pita chips, and playing outside. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. All staff present at the time of inspection were current in CPR/First Aid certification, two staff were trained in Daily Health Observation, and two staff had current Medication Administration Training certification.
