Discussion that the Provider will be in the process of bringing on board an assistant. Along with all of the required background checks, new staff will also need: an orientation documented, a certificate of completion from the 10-hour on-line Virginia Pre-service Training; a certificate of completion from the 3-hour on-line Annual Health & Safety Update Training; and certifications in both CPR and First Aid trainings. This Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 12/01/2023, between the hours of 10 am to 12 pm. There were 2 children present (6 points), with 1 caregiver supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards, code, and/or law. No violations were issued.
