Comments:
A unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted with the director and four staff. The age range of the children was five years to eleven years old. Children were observed during homework time, outside time and group activities. Six children's records were reviewed and were in compliance. Base on the review of medications the center did not have a written allergy care plan for one child in care with food allergy. Evidence: Child A did not have a food allergy plan written from the physician.
Plan of Correction:
I will ask the parents for the missing information today.
Director found the food allergy plan at the end of the inspection in with the child's extra clothes.
