Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, document review and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 08/05/2021 and concluded on 08/06/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 5 children, ages 14 months-3 years, and 3 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, programs, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children?s records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.
Based on observation and discussion with the staff, the facility failed to maintain the nonmedical emergency supplies as required by the standards.
Evidence: There was not a working, battery-operated radio available during the inspection.
Plan of Correction:
Will keep the rechargeable radio charged or will buy a back-up radio.
