Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 01/09/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries and emergency plans. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Maria Robles at maria.robles-lopez@dss.virginia.gov.
Based on documentation review, it was determined that lockdown procedures were not practiced at least annually. Evidence: 1) The emergency drills log for the 2019 year did not document that a lockdown drill was completed. 2) Emergency drills logs for the years 2018 was not available for review.
Plan of Correction:
I will start documenting the drills.
