The physical space, playground, 2 new staff records, 4 child records, evacuation drills, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, policies and required posted documents were reviewed. Medications were in compliance. Children were observed playing on the playground, interacting during circle time activities, working on developmentally appropriate projects and engaging with the staff. Age appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Evidence: On the Fire Evacuation Drill Log, in the month of March 2022, a Shelter-In-Place drill was conducted instead of a fire drill. The director stated she didn?t realize she had to do a fire inspection drill if she did a shelter-in-place drill. Shelter-in-place drills are to be conducted twice a year in addition to the monthly fire evacuation drills. Plan of Correction: I will make sure a fire evacuation drill is done monthly.
