Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted December 7 2023 between 12:15pm and 1:15pm. There were 7 children (15 points) in the care of the provider. Children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, and playing with various toys in the play space. The provider record, new child record, emergency plan, emergency drills, and the physical space was observed and inspected. Citations are listed on the violation notice. Based on record review, the provider did not ensure that the emergency plan was reviewed at least annually.
Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan that is posted in the family day home was last dated 10/31/2016. The provider was unable to located a more recent one.
