An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 5 staff files, 10 children's files, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medication, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 11:30-1:00pm. There were 159 children under the supervision of 34 staff. During the inspection, children were observed having a diaper changed (infant), eating lunch, enjoying free play, participating in circle time, learning how to spell words through using the promethium board, reading books, listening to music and resting during naptime. For lunch, the children were served Maryland style chicken, mixed vegetables, cantaloupe, whole wheat bread and milk.
