Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today at 11:30am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 159 children under the supervision of 34 staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. . Based on file review, 1 out of 5 staff records does not have documentation of having received the Pre-Service Training within 90 days of employment. Evidence 1. Staff #2 has been employed at the center for more than 90 days. This training has not yet been completed.
Plan of Correction:
Staff #2 has begun this training. This will be completed.
