A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on March 22, 2022 and concluded on March 22, 2022. A record review inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the center did not obtain the department's health and safety update course for each staff member.
Evidence: 1. The records for staff #1 (hire date: 1/10/17 ), staff #2 (hire date 01/17/19), staff #4 (hire date 1/02/17) and staff #5 (date of hire 8/21/14) did not have an annual health and safety training.
