Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 12:00 pm - 2:45 pm. There were 101 children in care being supervised by 16 staff. The children were observed eating lunch and preparing for rest time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and five staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of daily attendance records it was determined that not all attendance records documented the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: The following classrooms did not have all children accounted on their attendance records: 1.) Toddler Room: Child A was not marked as present on attendance. 2.) Two year old room: Child B and Child C were not marked as present on attendance. 3.) Four year old room: Child D was not marked as present on attendance.
