Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:45 am - 2:45 pm with the center director and staff. There were 94 children, ranging from three months to eight years of age, present with 15 staff supervising. Children were observed participating in structured center play activities that included dramatic play, blocks, writing, building, and iPads, preparing for and eating lunch, and napping. Lunch served today was cheeseburger macaroni, cauliflower, fresh apples and organic milk. Eleven children's records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was observed and in compliance. Seven medications and authorization forms, and two medication logs were observed and in compliance. Based on a review of documentation, and an interview with the director, the center did not have an annual fire inspection. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection report on file was dated 1/30/18.
Plan of Correction:
The fire marshall was called during today's inspection and the inspection is scheduled for tomorrow, 8/1/19.
