Technical Assistance:
Inspections of the playground prior to use by the children was discussed with the program director as there were cigarettes, pieces of latex balloons and other litter in the fenced in area.
Comments:
An unannounced, mandated monitoring inspection was conducted today. The inspection was in the facility between 11:30 AM and 2:20 PM. Twenty two children were in care. Lunch service and nap time were observed. It was reported that no medication has been administered to children in care and no children's injuries were reported. A sample size of five staff records and five children's records were reviewed.
An exit meeting was conducted with the program director prior to closure of the inspection.
Based upon review of records and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that staff submit results of a tuberculosis screening every two years. Evidence: 1. The most recent tuberculosis screening in the record for staff 1 is dated 01/09/2018. 2. Staff 1 verified that the most recent screening in the record for staff 1 is dated
