Technical Assistance:
?The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. The violations listed below reflect the new VDOE codes and standards.? A cross over document was provided to show the new standards numbers.
Comments:
A renewal study was conducted today using virtual protocol established during the state of emergency. There were 5 children and two caregivers present during today's inspection. Two caregiver and 2 children's records were reviewed. All were complete. The dog's rabies vaccination needs to be updated. Emergency supplies, emergency exit drills, shelter-in-place drill, Emergency Preparedness plan, menu and posting of required documents were all in compliance. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at (703) 479-4678 or at Sarah.Marbert@doe.virginia.gov.
Based on a review of records, the dog does not have a current rabies vaccination. Evidence: The vaccination for the dog expired 2/25/2021.
Plan of Correction:
I will get eh vaccination taken care of as soon as possible.
