Comments:
A code compliance inspection was conducted on 9/21/2022. There were seven children in care with two staff supervising. A sampling of two children's records and three staff records were reviewed.
Violations of the Code of Virginia were cited and reviewed with the program director in the exit interview.
Based upon review of records and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that each person in a supervisory position has been certified by a practicing physician to be free from any disability which would prevent him from caring for children under his supervision. Evidence: 1. There was no physician statement available for staff 3, identified by staff 1 as supervising children in the afternoons when staff 2 leaves. 2. Staff 1 acknowledged that there was no physician statement for staff 3.
