Comments:
This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, including phone interview, records review, and a virtual observations. An on-site inspection was not conducted at this time.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 10:20am. The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were 2 children present = 4 points with the provider. Ratios and supervision were in compliance at the time of inspection. The home was well supplied with toys and equipment for the children, and appeared clean and organized today. Information gathered during the inspection determined there was an area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Note: Current regulation and Code numbers are handwritten on the original inspection report issued to the Provider.
Based on information received and interview conducted, it was determined that a household member does not have a completed central registry check (CPS). Evidence: Household member #3 - There was no documentation of this individual have a completed CPS check, and the provider stated that it had not been completed. The CPS check should have been completed by 9/23/21.
Plan of Correction:
The inspector gave the provider a blank CPS form, and the provider said she would send it promptly for completion.
