Comments:
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 4/1/2022.There were 2 present with the Provider supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records and 2 provider / household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a review of documentation and interview, the Provider did not ensure that every adult (18 years of age or older), including any adult household member, who comes into contact with children or who will provide care to children, has a current Tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Two Provider / Household Member records were reviewed. The record for household member #2 did not contain results of a Tuberculosis screening. The Provider acknowledged that she did not have this documentation available but stated that household member #2 regularly obtains this screening for employment.
Plan of Correction:
The Provider will ask Household Member #2 to obtain a copy of his most recent TB screening from his employer. If the documentation cannot be obtained, or if the screening was conducted more than 2 years ago, then household member #2 will have a new screening conducted by the end of the month.
