Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:45am-11:10am. There were 25 children directly supervised by 6 caregivers. All groups were in ratio during the inspection. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, resting quietly, and interacting with staff. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The facility was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on observation, the facility did not ensure that all areas of the premises accessible to children are free of obvious injury hazards.
Evidence: Playground edging wooden boarder was warped with an exposed sharp nail.
Plan of Correction:
The wooden board will be cut off or removed today.
