Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/01/2024 as a result of the provider being on enforcement watch. There were 21 children, ages 5 years-12 years, and 3 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector observed the following: arrival, free choice activities and preparing for snack. A total of 1 child?s records, 1 staff record, and five board officers/agents were reviewed. Inspector arrived at 1:45 PM and departed at 3:40 PM.
Based on record review, the center failed to ensure that new board agents obtain a fingerprint background check as required by the Code of Virginia.
