Based on a review of children's medications, one child had a prescription without a current authorization. Evidence: Child # 1 had an emergency allergy medication on site but the authorization had expired two weeks after it was signed by the parent. Authorizations over two weeks old must be renewed every two weeks; or a physican can sign authorize a long term authorization .
Plan of Correction:
I will text the parents today to get the authorization from the doctor.
