Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. There were 58 children in care being supervised by 11 staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play, crafts, and cooperative games. Lunch served today is hamburger on roll, french fries, peaches, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Six staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Seven medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was conducted 12/03/2019 and the most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 07/17/019. Based on observation of the infant room it was determined that not all medication was kept in a locked place. Evidence: Two medications were observed in an unlocked cabinet under the changing table.
Plan of Correction:
The medication was removed and locked during the inspection.
