A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 3/13/24. There were 30 children and 6 staff present. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standard were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law.
Based on interview and a review of staff files, it was determined that staff A and B did not have CPR certification to include in-person competency demonstration within 90 days from their date of employment. Staff A was hired on 10/31/23 and staff B was hired on 9/24/18.
Plan of Correction:
Teachers were enrolled in person CPR trainings for May 11 2024 at the Culpeper Baptist Child Development Center
