The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today via Zoom. A total of 72 children with 18 staff were on site. Observation of 4 out of the 9 classrooms was conducted. Children were observed sleeping in cribs, held by staff, participating in circle time and actively engaged in the school aged class instruction. The center was decorated with several art projects completed by the children to include topics such as Chinese New Year, trips around the world and graphing family members. A total of 3 children's and 3 staff records were reviewed and found complete. All staff and school aged children were observed wearing masks and adhering to social distancing guidelines.
