An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between approximately 9:30am and 11:05am. 139 children were directly supervised by 22 staff members. Classroom ratios were in compliance. 10 children's records, 6 staff records, required posted documents, evacuation drills and medications were reviewed. Medication policies were in compliance. Records were well organized. Children were observed in music class, art class, Spanish class, working on projects, engaged in circle time activities and interacting with the staff. Interactions were positive and all activities and materials were age and stage appropriate. Walls were decorated with process oriented, developmentally appropriate children's artwork.
