A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 08/21/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
There were 3 children present, 21 months to 9 years old, for a total of 5 points, in care with the vendor. The records sample size consisted of 3 newly enrolled children?s recordsand 1vendor record. Children were observed watching a children's program, resting quietly, playing with toys and dancing to music. The vendor states that no medication is administered to children in care at this time and that children are transported in a vehicle both for outings and to and from care. Requirements for transportation were reviewed with the vendor - but transportation was not observed during the inspection. Children play outdoors in the back yard with direct supervision and close proximity of the provider. The vendor reports that there have been no accidents or injuries requiring first aid or medical treatment incurred by children in care since the last inspection. There are no children currently enrolled who have diagnosed food allergies.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
