A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 12:43 PM to 4:00 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Today, there were five children, ages infancy through three years (fourteen points), with the provider. I determined compliance with operational responsibilities, record keeping, allergies, hazardous substances, reports, two records for caregiver/residents, caregiver qualifications, caregiver training, emergency planning, emergency supplies and drill records, hand washing, nutrition, and five records for children. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
