Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/05/2022 from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from 2 months to 4 years old with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the provider exceeded the 16 points allowed for one caregiver. Evidence: 1. At arrival, the Licensing Inspector observed Staff #2 with 9 children which totaled 23 points. Staff #1 was not present at that time. Staff #1 arrived approximately 15 minutes after the licensing inspector arrived. 2. Staff #1 confirmed that Staff #2 was left with 9 children which totaled 23 points.
Plan of Correction:
I will make sure there is always 2 providers in the home at all times. I ran out to the grocery store because we were getting low on milk. Therefore, I will double check our supplies every evening to make sure that we have everything we need for the next day. So there will be no need for a grocery run during the day.
