Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 9/28/2021 and concluded on 10/7/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 17 children present, ranging in ages from three to five, with four staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records and two staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on review of records and interviews the center failed to obtain annual approval from the health department. Evidence: 2. The last documented health inspection (Environmental Sanitation inspection) was conducted 3/19/2019.
Plan of Correction:
The director has contacted the health inspector to schedule an inspection. The director will ensure that annual inspections are conducted.
