Evidence: In the classroom for four-year old children, there was an exposed lateral strip containing unused electrical outlets without child-resistant protective covers.

The facility removed the electrical strip out of the classroom.

Description:
Based on review of medications and records, the facility did not follow its procedures for preventing the use of outdated medication.
Evidence: Child #4 was given Zyrtec medication on February 13, 2024 after the medication was expired as of 02/2024.
Plan of Correction:
The facility contacted the parent to bring a new bottle of medication for their child.
