Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 7/12/22. There were 14 children (39 points) present in the direct care of 3 staff members. The children were engaged in free play with age appropriate toys and watching a children's program on TV. A total of 3 child records, 3 staff records and 2 household member records were reviewed. The emergency drill records were current. There were no children with allergies or medications on site. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation, the total number of children receiving care at any one time exceeded the capacity of the home. Evidence: 1. At 10:45 am, there were 14 children present in the direct care of 3 staff members. 2. Staff # 1 stated that Child # 1 and Child # 2 were not enrolled children, and were present only for a short period of time on this day. 3. Child # 1 and Child # 2 both left at approximately 11:15 am.

I will ensure that the family day home is never above it's capacity.

Based on staff interview, the provider did not maintain an up to date record at the family day home for each child. Evidence: The provider stated that she did not have a record for Child # 1 and Child # 2.
