Comments:
Licensing Inspector arrived at 10:30 and departed at 11:30 AM to conduct a monitoring inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were three children (ages three through school-age) in care with two staff. The children were observed watching a movie. All standards were reviewed. The sample size was two staff and three children's records. Staff reports that no medication is being stored or administered at this time. Additionally, it was reported that there have been no injuries.
Based on review of the physical plant, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that all hazardous substances were in a locked location.
Evidence: The door to the kitchen was unlocked and there was bleach and dish washing liquid sitting on the sink.
Plan of Correction:
KItchen was locked during inspection.
