Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/4/19. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Licensing Inspector arrived at 9:45 and departed at 11:00 AM to conduct a renewal inspection. At the time of the inspection, there were three preschool children in care with two staff. Children were observed watching television and playing with table top toys. The sample size was two staff and three children's records. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on observation and interview, it was determined that the vendor id not ensure that a written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions are maintained in a way accessible to all staff who work with children.
Evidence: 1. There was no allergy list posted at the facility. 2. Staff #1 verified that there was no allergy list.
Plan of Correction:
Center management will ensure that an allergy list is posted.
