Comments:
A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on November 27, 2023 from 9:30am-10:15am. There were 7 children in care plus the provider's own child with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed playing freely, singing songs, and washing hands to eat snack, Caregivers addressed children in soft voices and talked to children in a positive manner. Home was well equipped with materials for children in care. A total of 2 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, rest mats could not be cleaned and sanitized as needed.
Evidence: The waterproof material of the rest mats were torn exposing therefore the materials was not able to be cleaned and sanitized.
Plan of Correction:
We were planning on replacing their rest mats. We will replace them immediately.
