Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on November 7, 2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. Four staff were present with eleven children. Additional staff were on site for administrative duties. Five children and five staff records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on review and observation, vendor did not ensure there is a written hard copy record of daily attendance for each group of children that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: The following was found: 1. Three children were present in the older infant classroom however no children were documented on the attendance sheet for the day. 2. Six children were present in the 2's classroom however three children were documented on the attendance sheet.
Plan of Correction:
Staff will make sure every child is documented upon arrival. Administration will follow up to make sure that is happening in all rooms.
